It’s officially official, durrrr, Lyoto Machida will be fighting his fellow countryman Thiago Silva for the light heavyweight championship in Birmingham England on October, 18.
It’s great to see the UFC go international but watching these fights are a pain.

During the chase, police say Jackson allegedly drove over the raised median of the roadway, drove onto a sidewalk, causing pedestrians to flee, and a tire on his truck disintegrated before he taken into custody without incident.

UFC86 is the culminatation of a little bit of smack talk here and there between Quinton Jackson and Forrest Griffin (no relation to Peter Griffin) on the TV show The Ultmate Fighter.
The co-main event on that card is Patrick Cote versus Ricardo Almeida, the big dog! This is going to be a banger to say the least. I am recording the fight at home to watch that one over and over again, I hope it lives up to my expectations. That said, I also have the main event which should laso be a sick fight!
Joe Stevenson makes a return after his blood bath battle loss to BJ Penn. Also on the card we have a lot of big fights – Gabriel Gonzaga is on the freakin’ undercard, I know, WTF?!
If you haven’t bought this PPV you should run home now and order it or at least go find it in a bar.
