Light heavyweight contender Forrest Griffin has been sidelined by a severe staph infection in his knee and today was forced to withdraw from his UFC70 bout with Lyoto Machida.[1]
Who’s left to fight? Keith Jardine looks to be a favorite, and Jason Lambert must be fresh and in good shape after his destruction of Renato Sobral (“Babalu”) at UFC68. Other contenders could be Jeremy Horn, Sean Salmon and James Irvin. I have no idea where this one is going to go.
