Light Heavyweight title match between title holder Quinton Jackson and Forrest Griffin after the Ultimate Fighter series has concluded and there has been enough beef built up between the two fighters. There will be more fights to be announced.
(2 votes, average: 4 out of 5)After “The Ultimate Fighter 7″ finale is over and there has been enough bad words said between Quinton Jackson and Forrest Griffin they’ll face each other in the Octagon and headline UFC86 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jackson’s last fight was his first defense of his title against Dan Henderson via unanimous boredom. Let’s hope that young blood Griffin brings some spark to the Octagon and kicks the crap out of Rampage. I know he’s defended the title once but I want to see a new title holder already!
Griffin knows all about being TUF since he won the first season of it. He earned his shot at Rampage after beating Mauricio Rua by rear naked choke way back last September. It was a shock to see that happen, I’m not going to lie but he won fair and square and was impressive en route.
This will undoubtedly be a HUGE event. I’m looking forward to it.
