Big rivalry, no love. No really, none at all, these dudes HATE each other. Word on the steet is that they were once homies, but Guillard’s rise to UFC notoriety split their friendship into pieces. Spawning internet slap fights and a rumored REAL slap fight at an undisclosed UFC event.
Guillard is coming off a suspension for smack, and Clementi coming off a submission win at UFC76.
They’re supposed to go toe to toe at UFC79 on December 29th.

HOLY CRAP!
Do we even care anymore? Here’s the current scenario:
Liddell lost again, pretty much putting a fight with Silva out of the question. So who does Liddell fight? Well, the perfect scenario was Shogun, since he lost as well. But his knee is hooped, so thats a no go.
Then there was Silva, he wanted Griffin but Forrest was injured in his fight with Shogun and won’t be ready to throw down in time for UFC79. AAAND Rampage is on the disabled list as well, putting a matchup with Jackson out of the question.
So you pretty much have two fighters that are supposed to be a part of one of the biggest fights ever both with two consecutve losses, and nobody to fight but each other.
The only positive addition to this story is that the UFC has changed their stance from “NO” to a Silva - Liddell clash to “MAYBE”.
Soooo…wheres the freakin problem Dana? You think Tito vs Rashad 2 is that amazing of a match up?
This is getting ridiculous.

According to his Oct 1st blog entry on his Myspace, former UFC Middleweight Champion Evan Tanner is “Setting a date” to return to fighting. It reads:
“I am setting a date.
I have been drinking like a madman for fifteen years.
I am done with it.
I am setting a date.”
See. I told you he was setting a date……….

It’s an…… ummm…….. interesting read.
Tanner has been on the shelf since April 2006 battling alcoholism.
