Allright, I’m not certain if I love the guy or hate the guy, but Josh K is effing hilairious. UFCMania just posted an exclusive interview with Kos, and the answer he gave to being asked about the crowd was priceless:
“The crowd can suck my ass because I’m going to get booed no matter what I do during a fight. It’s often a bunch of drunks in the stands who don’t understand the technique and aspects of mixed martial arts. These people just want to see knockouts. So when fans here can understand — like Japanese crowds do — the importance of takedowns and passing guard and nuances like that then maybe I’ll care. My job is to win fights.” ~ Josh Koscheck
That is freaking awesome! haha. He might come off like a bit of a dick but that is pretty funny stuff.

Sooooo…after getting a title shot for winning TUF4 and then not making weight (a GIANT frickin WTF?) Travis Lutter has been sidelined with a neck injury and will sit out of the UFC74 PPV event.
He was scheduled to take on Ryan Jensen on the UFC74 undercard.
No substitute has been named, but we are certain some tomato can will be willing to suit up.
Props to UFCMania.com for the props, as usual they’re Johnny on the spot about this shizz.

Holy crap! Is it just me or is this gap between UFC73 and UFC74 waaaay too long!? It is DRY out there! I mean bone dry. They didn’t even toss in a Fight Night to appease us…its just barren, vacant landscape. I feel like I’m a fan of the Iditarod instead of the most exciting sport in the universe.
Sure I’m enjoying summer, and maybe the UFC needed a bit of a break but c’mon…this is really getting out of hand.
I’m getting the shakes and food’s starting to taste different.

Is this delay too much? Talk amongst yourselves….or just comment.

Some are calling Napao the most underrated fighter on the planet, and would bet the house on him in a bout against Fedor. Others still think he’s an unproven commodity in The Octagon and are calling his vicious knock out win over Cro Cop a fluke.
Although I wouldn’t go so far as to say he got lucky against Mirko (he was clearly the better fighter that night), I’m still a little sceptical and certainly am not ready to give him props as the greatest heavyweight on the planet as some are.
Lets look at his past fights: Most have been relatively short, just how good is his cardio? Can he go the distance in a five round tilt? We don’t know that yet.
He’s done very well against strikers but the only truly accomplished grappler he’s faced, Werdum, pounded him into a bloody mess.
Aside from Cro Cop, who has he beaten that could be considered a top 10 or even top 20 heavyweight? No one really.
The moral of this story? Just because he beat Cro Cop in highlight reel fashion does not mean he is the next big thing. Kevin Randleman did that in 2004 and two years later he was fined for providing goat pee in a urinalysis. Just some food for thought………
