Wanderlei Silva vs Chuck Liddell was the next big highly anticipated marquee matchup in the UFC. But word on the street is that after his loss to Keith Jardine, the UFC might be bailing on the whole Liddell - Silva showdown alltogether!!

Yo people, UFC78 has bee confirmed for November 17th in New Jersey.
They haven’t solidified a card as of yet but Tito Ortiz is going to be the headlining fighter. Whether its a rematch between him and Rashad Evans or a showdown with Dan Henderson is still up in the air. Personally, I think Hendo would take his head off.
Heres what the card is sort of supposed to kind of look like a bit:
Tito Ortiz vs Somebody
Karo Parisyan vs Hector Lombard
Frank Edgar vs Spencer Fisher
Joe Lauzon vs Jason Reinhardt
Dave Terrell vs Ed Herman
Ryo Chonan vs Thiago Alves
Tamdan McCrory vs Akihiro Gono
Obviously we’ll update you when this shizz in confirmed.
That’s right kids, this ones gonna be in New Jersey which is as close as you can get to New York without having to have a license.
UFC78 Is going to be huge and the fact that this rematch is on the cards is a good start. Other rumors are that we may have a rather big former PRIDE fighter in the fight too, watch this space.
It’s more than just a rumor, reliable sources have told me that he is within a cat’s whisker of signing with the UFC. What about that fight fans, what are your thoughts on that one?! Who wants to see Fedor in the UFC anyway?
