Former UFC middleweight champ and wild man Evan Tanner was found dead on Monday in the Palo Verde mountain area in California after going missing in the area over the weekend.
Tanner, 37, had blogged ominously about his trip into the desert to “cleanse” as written on his Spike journal:
“I plan on going so deep into the desert, that any failure of my equipment, could cost me my life”
Already on Evan Tanner’s website is a tribute to him, a great man as an individual and a fighter. He will be sorely missed inside and outside of the Octagon. Please leave all tributes below.

So it’s tomorrow night Chuck and Rashad will slug it out. If you’re not hyped about that fight then we’re putting you in the octagon with the winner and they’re going to beat some sense into you.
