Chucks gameplan against Jardine was awful, I also think that Wanderlei would have been stupid to try out knees against Liddell (like guru said Chuck has a better clinch as well as longer reach), any idea on Chucks next opponent?
I know that Jacob "Tito" Ortiz is fighting Lyoto Machida :)
Well that should be an interesting fight right there.

Chucks gameplan has never been as bad as in the Jardine fight, he has faught the way he has because of the competition, and other than that fight, his gameplan has never been questionable. I think this fight was just as predicted. I always said that Chucks long looping punching style was perfect for Wandi's short, wild, inaccurate haymakers. Plus everyone is saying Wandi should've used knees and he would've won. WRONG!!! You couldn't be more off, he didnt resort to knees due to the fact that he couldn't have stopped Chucks takedowns if he did, not due to a knee injury as I heard someone say, I train at Extreme Couture, which is where he prepared for this fight and he never got injured there, nor did he wrap, which you would think he would do at least to train. Besides he's aware of the pedigree wrestler Chuck is and did work alot in takedown defence, he knew Chuck would have the wrestling (I.E. clinch) advantage, but it's hard to remember takedown defence when you spend 15 minutes on queer street.

Interesting and very deep blog. Way to go C Mac!. Your wording is brilliant and can so see the fight going in any which way. I am a Chuck fan but kudos to Wandi for his awsome strategies in the octagon. It's almost like Chuck needs to get hit first to fuel his fire and yes he may just be faced with shit he has never dealt with before. Chuck was terrible in the fight with Jardine. OVER AND OVER repetetive blows to his side and didn't do much about it. Kinda just let that happen. Wandi's strikes are rediculously powerful aswell as Chuck's but Wandi may just have a more rounded game plan. Wandi doesn't need alot of time to think about what he will do next or what he will exchange. Quick thinker. Hopefully, in Chuck's defense he can return some favours and come out the winner after not so great fights. Good luck to both(this is big for them) but pullin' for Chuck JMO Cheers Up!

I think Wand is going to outstrike him, has a better ground game too. Even when Wand is hurt he still comes at you like a pittbull, scary!!

There you go.

Wanderlei Silva is training big time, and The Iceman isn't doing enough to win. I'm just glad both didn't get hurt during training. It's gonna happen finally. Yeaaaaaah.
