Here are the latest odd and lines from our homies at BetUS.com, if your gonna lay down some skrill…thats the place to go.
(Just so you know, a plus (+) number beside a fighter means that they are the UNDERDOG; the number represents how much $ you win for every $100 you bet. A minus (-) number means that the fighter is the FAVORITE; that number represents how much $ you have to bet to win $100)
Check these out:
UFC Light Heavy Weight Division - A fountain of talent.
A fight is a fight and anyone can beat anyone on any given day! Just who is the best Light Heavy Weight on the planet? This division is just awesome and the results that its throwing up are against form and mind boggling.
Wanderlei Silva beats Quinton Jackson, Dan Henderson beats Wanderlei Silva, Quinton Jackson beats Dan Henderson.
Shogun beats Jackson, Jackson beats Liddell, Forrest beats Shogun.
Bonnar beats Jardine, Jardine beats Forrest, Houston beats Jardine, Jardine beats Liddell, Liddell beat Randy, Randy beats up everyone (as a Heavyweight)
The only pattern is chaos.
The talent pool is so deep and wide at present, that predicting the outcome of a Light Heavy Weight is a nightmare. Sponsors must be having a hard time too, not knowing which guys to back. One things for sure though, this is a great time to be a fan. A golden age in MMA.
Is the Light heavy Weight division missing a dominant champ, a stand out figure. Our current champ has been convincingly beat by 2 current UFC fighters, Shogun and Silva, or are we just happy that a fight is a fight and anyone can beat anyone on any given day.
So Rich Franklin is about to challenge Anderson Silva for the title “The Spider” took from him in their last meeting. What chance does he have after the beating he took last time?
A lot better chance than most people expect….
You see, Rich Franklin is a very cerebral fighter. You can bet he’s watched the tape of the last fight over and over and picked apart his performance.
You can also bet that Franklin will stay the hell away from Silva’s clinch……..If he can.
Look for Franklin to try to turn the fight into a brawl. He had some (limited) success striking from mid-range in the first encounter. He may even take his chances with “The Spider”s ground game.
The real question is here: Even if Franklin gets his way with one of the above scenarios, does he really have an advantage over Silva in any position????
We will find out on Saturday. But I’d be willing to wager it will be a hell of a lot more competitive this time around.
Some fighters get booed on the way to the Octagon. Tito Ortiz and josh Koshcheck spring to mind. You don’t like them, ok then, its ok to show it I suppose. Booing 3 seconds after a fight hits the ground? No its not ok and it shows a lack of knowledge of MMA, go and watch K1 if you don’t like ground fighting.
Booing after non stop lay and pray tactics on the ground, or stand up standing off with no action, you don’t like it, ok then you can show it.
Booing a dodgy decision, Penn VS GSP, Bisping VS Hamil. Its your god given right to boo. In fact its your duty! The judges and promoters need to know you won’t stand for it.
Just remember though, you Boo Boys, it isn’t easy to get in a cage in front of 20,000 people and have a fight. Maybe its ok to boo fighters in the cage but only in the right places and at the correct times.
Here’s a phone conversation Randy had on ESPN…I think it expresses his disdain for the UFC and how it treats its fighters, stick around to hear Dana White’s comments at the end…classic:
