When is it ok to boo fighters in the cage?
Some fighters get booed on the way to the Octagon. Tito Ortiz and josh Koshcheck spring to mind. You don’t like them, ok then, its ok to show it I suppose. Booing 3 seconds after a fight hits the ground? No its not ok and it shows a lack of knowledge of MMA, go and watch K1 if you don’t like ground fighting.
Booing after non stop lay and pray tactics on the ground, or stand up standing off with no action, you don’t like it, ok then you can show it.
Booing a dodgy decision, Penn VS GSP, Bisping VS Hamil. Its your god given right to boo. In fact its your duty! The judges and promoters need to know you won’t stand for it.
Just remember though, you Boo Boys, it isn’t easy to get in a cage in front of 20,000 people and have a fight. Maybe its ok to boo fighters in the cage but only in the right places and at the correct times.

i agree its true but some fighters just deserve it i mean props to them for getting in thr ring but u have to admit that some fighter are just to damn cocky and need a good boooing
it pisses me off big time when as soon as a fight goes to ground the drunks and boxing fans start booing.its amazing how many people say 2 me they like the ufc but hate it when the fighters “lie on the floor”!

Alot of the action is on the mat!. It takes great skill and flexibility to pull off some of those moves. When they tend to just lie there and wait for the round to end that’s different. Mixed martial arts. Stand up, lay down TKO s the refs are pretty good at standing them up when down too long. Like any sport; you have the ones you like and the ones you don’t. Example: NASCAR Jeff Gordon you love em or you wait them. Just take the time and think about why maybe you don’t like him. Because he is good and a very good driver, is he to unibrow for some, does he talk through his nose? Just think about your favourite fighter/s and your not so favourite. Gaurenteed everyone has em’. Makes UFC interesting. Imagine if you actually liked them all? And you definately wouldn’t watch if you hated them all. Think about it. Good to talk. (Jeff Gordon; not my fav)LOL

the fight was very close.when both fighters stood in the ring at the end of the fight, you knew who had won.penn didnt have a scratch on him and gsp looked like he’d been hit by an 18 wheel truck.
gsp was the poster boy,so he got the nod.
GSP got cut look at Forrest vs Tito you could say the same about that, I thought B.J gassed and GSP did just enough to pull out a close win.

my moneys on gsp hes always in the best of shape could probably fight10 rounds no problem. bj penn i like needs to train more cardio or something always seems to run out of gas maybe hes full of it

I am Canadian too but even if GSP was from another country I would still stand by his game. Sometimes I think he might over train(and it is possible) but each time he gets in the octagon he is focused and rarely tires. Penn on the other hand is a GASSY guy. You can see it in his breathing pattern early in the fight. Going up to another weight class might not be the right move for him (just my opinion)Good to talk)
Penn is abit out of shape, he need to do more cardio, and sharpen his reflexes. (Just my opinion)

Get in better shape is exactly what he needs to do. Not saying he is sooo out of shape he can’t fight but obviously could be better.
