It’s more than just a rumor, reliable sources have told me that he is within a cat’s whisker of signing with the UFC. What about that fight fans, what are your thoughts on that one?! Who wants to see Fedor in the UFC anyway?

DAMN I cannot tell you guys how much I want this to happen, Fedor needs ufc and ufc need him to take the HW division to the next level. If he comes to the ufc he should fight either Gonzaga or Vera then move on to a super fight with Randy Couture, and BTW cheers for this alan.
It was actually me who posted, I screwed up but yeah, Couture isn’t going to last forever at his age so when the Emelianenko signing happens we’ll see a super fight a la Dan Henderson Vs. Quinton Jackson.
I guess until its announced we wont know if hes signed, I imagine Dana already has him because he always keeps the big announcements for ppvs. BTW if any of you guys have heard about the meetings that Dana has had with Fedors management and they said it went well and Dana said it didnt go well yeah right!

Randy has made it crystal clear that he wants to fight Fedor but be careful what you wish for Couture. WAR FEDOR!
not only does he have an awesome record Marvin, but that one loss wasnt really even a loss. the fight was stopped 17 seconds in because fedors eye was bleeding profusley (his eye gets cut open in half of his fights it seems like). The cut was caused by an accidental elbow. the fighter didnt have elbow pads so elbows werent legal, so it was said to be an accident. the fight was called and since it was a tournament fight a winner had to be declared so the guy he was fighting (Kohsaka Tsuyoshi) was declared the winner. In any normal fight it would have been called a No Contest.
Fedor should fight at 205 there is more to prove there than in the HW division!

fedor comin to the ufc would be awsome, i think he should fight cro cop first for 3 resons 1. it would make a lot of money, people would love to see it 2. the last time they fought the fight was so close it could have easily went either way and 3. fedor even said that, fighting cro cop was his toughest fight to date ever..
Hell Yeah man but unfortunetly I dont see it yet because Cro Cop has fallen off a cliff as far as HW rankings go, Id love to see him fight Brandon Vera for 3 reasons
1. Vera is undefeated and there is alot of hype around him at the moment 2. Vera has said hed like to fight Fedor and id love to see him get his ass kicked lol 3. I dont see many other challenges for Fedor at HW except Randy,Cro Cop and Vera and it would give him a great inrouduction to the ufc and make alot of noise.

It’s a little early to say. There are rumors of retirement. I personally would still like to see him fight Silva. After all, they have BOTH lost 2 straight fights. Still makes sense to me.
