Rumor has it that Canadian submissions expert Jason Macdonald is booked to fight Yushin Okami at UFC77.
Okami is coming off unanimous decision loss to former Middleweight champ Rich Franklin but has UFC wins against Mike Swick, Kalib Starnes and Alan Belcher.
Macdonald’s last loss was also at the hands of Franklin, but in far more devastating fashion than Okami, as his corner threw in the towel for him to end the matchup. Okami has traditionally given most fighters fits with his size and awkward style that makes him impossible to hit. Macdonald on the other hand is notorious for looking all but out in his fights, then managing to eke out submission victory after submission victory.
UFC77 is scheduled for October 20th in Ohio, with the Rich Franklin getting a rematch against current middleweight Champ Anderson Silva.
