Time for Tito to STFU and fight.
Round one: Tito throws up his leg and it actually looks like a good kick (for once). He shoots and wrestles Evans down to the mat. Evans is pressed hard against the Octagon and skilfully defends against Tito’s attack, which is the best in the business – Evans stands it up. I always said if it stays stood up then Evans will win it.
Tito’s in a deep low stance back foot ready to push forward to shoot for the takedown. Tito tried for the takedown, and Evans sprawls and stops it. Evans reverses it and has Tito’s back to the Octagon. He hit’s Tito with a right but you can clearly see Evans’ thumb poke just under the eye and this is what cuts Ortiz. Ortiz is bleeding just under his right eye. Evans’ takedown defence is working for now and the round is over and Tito was by far the more dominant fighter.
Round two: A few shots thrown but nothing lands. Evans tries to take Tito down Tito’s defence is good and stuff it. A few more shots back and forth but again, nothing lands. Tito grabs Evans in the clinch and he works it over to the Octagon for the takedown dropping in a big shoulder shove into Evans face. Evans tries to get the leg and take Ortiz down but Tito stuffs it. Tito takes Evans down and pushes him right up against the Octagon and bring him into his zone. This is dangerous for Evans, this is where Tito wins his fights. Ortiz on top of Evans and is dominating the fight but isn’t hitting home with anything effective.
Evans reverses and Tito grabs the fence and has a point stripped for that. They’re both still hustling and Ortiz locks in a heavy guillotine choke but there is no time left in the round. The referee stops it and I thought it was a Tito victory by submission because I didn’t hear the bell. It WAS the FREAKING BELL.
Round three: they trade off a few shots and I think Evans needs a knockout here to win this. Tito forces Evans onto the side of the Octagon only for Evans to work it into an advantage and get some knees to the body from the clinch. Tito is leading the fight and pushing Evans all the time but he looks a little gassed from those knees from before. Evans swings some big shots at Ortiz but nothing hit’s home. Ortiz is throwing weak kicks but Evans is keeping his distance.
Evans shoots and scores a takedown late in the round and manages to work in some big elbow shots but it looks a little too late for it to take away from an Ortiz win.
The result comes in and because of that one point deduction, it’s called a draw and that’s complete bullshit.

If there is a next time, I hope this time Tito does his thang.
I have that feeling Rashad will take out Tito in the next fight. Rashad already knows tito cant hurt him on stand up. If this was a 5 rounder Rashad will take it. if this is a 3 rounder Rashad will still take it but it will be a close match. still i think the next fight Rashad will have more confidence on his stand up. Like what Rashad said something like this, ” I don’t rely on my wrestling, I rely on my striking. I think Rashad will be better focused coming into his next fight. Thats why you will see Rashad with more tko in his future fight.
I just watching Rashad he has good defense on the double leg. When hes on the ground, Rashad is able to stand up with ease. I just see tito getting drained trying to work the double.
Rashad much quicker smaller guy with faster hands. Did you see that sweet take down he got on Tito ..
He fake strikes and went for a easy double leg.
Titos stand up is sloppy .. his kicks and his punches are sloppy.. he not that same fighter anymore.. His cardio is just average.
Tito needs find a new plan.
His plan will be to shoot for the takedown and ground and pound Evans’s face into the face with bleeding elbows, that’s what will happen. He will win the next by TKO stoppage because this one will be a wake up call for Tito.
Not going to happen. I’m a tito fan. Just dont see Tito taking Evans down. Rashad has good defense and bettter take down than tito. rashad has Faster Hands on stand up.. Rashad almost has the same defense as chuck. Rashad defends the take down and easily stands up with a couple body shots and up with the stand up.
Rashad had tito mounted in the end of the 15 seconds.
Tito needs a better plan.
Why tito will lose..
- stand up is sloppy
- his gas tank is low
- his game plan is shut down win he fights wrestlers better than him
- Kicks are sloppy
- he uses up too much energy using the single and double leg and not finishing it.
- If he was going to win it.. it would be by the number of take downs he executed and how much he pushes the fight.
just dont see him damaging rashad what so everr.

I see tito getting knocked out in the 2nd round in his next fight.
Why Tito will win:
he’ll train his stamina for the next fight
he’ll train to take the fight to the ground
He will win because he won’t keep the fight up. I agree Evans’ takedown D isn’t bad but Ortiz always got him down and it was just a matter of time before he got through that guard. He will next time. There shouldn’t be a next time because Ortiz was robbed of that win.
i believe evans would be more effective at a lower weight class.

what has tito been doing lately not training on the ground. hes the master of the ground and pound .. still couldnt take rashad to the ground and mount.
rashad a much smaller fighter. hits tito with 2 rights and shoots in.. lifts tito off the ground and mounts him with some punches..
He’s the master of the GnP, but he’ll train to take the fight TO the ground and finish it is what I should have said, the needs to get through Evans’s guard and that’s what I meant you picky mofo ;)
I hope tito trains hard man.. i want him to win and get his belt back.

Tito came in bad shape if evans had 10 more secs he would have won, A tito fan I thought you guys were extinct he hasnt had a TKOd anyone in the last 5 years besides ken shamrock.
