Well it looks like that Ken Shamrock fight is not happening for Michael Bisping. Instead he’ll be taking on fellow TUF4 competitor Matt Hamilll.
Bisping who is undefeated with 13 wins will be face Matt Hamill in the Octagon. Hamill is also undefeated with 5 wins. The fight is scheduled to take place on September 8th, 2006 in The O2 Arena, London, England. UFC75 is going to be one hell of an event.
Also featured on the UFC75 card is the light heavyweight championship unifier between PRIDE’s Dan Henderson and Quinton Jackson from the UFC.

Can’t wait for that, I’m from the UK and am hoping to get a ticket soon for the event. It should be a great fight, it would have been the final of the Ultimate Fighter Season 3 if not for Matt’s injury/dehydration.
I really hope Bisping can do it, he has good stand up and a very nice flying knee in his arsenal but Matt’s a Powerhouse who will look to take him to the ground and pound him out.
Also the Rampage - Henderson bout should be interesting. Rampage is hilarious hopefully he will take the Piss out of Henderson’s teeth again and then kick his ass and take his belt just for good measure.

Hamill should have kicked bisping’s butt… The judges were high or something… The results of this fight were the greatest upset I’ve ever seen!!!

Matt won all 3 rounds. He did get robbed! Matt showed much class after being asked if he thought he had won. I wonder why they didn’t ask anyone else that question after each fight?
Bisping didn’t earn the win at UFC 75!!!!! Hamill was RIPED off by the judges…, what is the deal?!
Hamill won at least two of three rounds…., I would say he may have won all three.
WOW…, what a black-eye to the sport and the Judges of the UFC.
I think the Judges should have to explain the fight play by play (so to speak) and show what they saw that the rest of the world didn’t.

I am so glad to hear everyone’s opinion of the Bisping vs. Hamill fight. I do not believe that I am one that believes that my favorite fighter is ripped off when he doesn’t win. In fact I can’t remember a UFC or boxing match decision that I ever disagreed with before. But…MATT HAMILL WAS RIPPED OFF….BIG TIME. I am so disappointed with the UFC judges. Except for the one that judged it 30 - 28 Hamill. Must say Matt handled it exceptionally well. I am really proud of him.
I agree with Redone’s comments, the judges should be held accountable for their decision, it was rediculous! Matt dominated him the entire fight and he handles the decision very well. Bisping claimed he out boxed Hamill. What a joke!
We all know the famous UFC slogan–”As real as it gets!” Well, Bisping’s victory is “As fake as it gets!!”
If you want to package a fighter, at least make sure he WINS his fights.

That fight almost makes me not want to watch UFC ever again. I’m absolutely disgusted. Hamill whooped his ass and then Bisping comes out talking smack afterwards. Dana White needs to get punched in the few shreds of testicles he has left.

Obviously Pie Face didn’t watch the fight… I “was” a Bisbing fan but after his poor display (not the fight but his arrogant talk after) puts the UFC on the level of pro wrestling. Which takes more class?: to “admit’ you lost, when you didn’t or to say you won when you know you hadn’t.
I’m sure that Hamills face feels alot better than Bisbings. As far as Hamill admitting his defeat, that’s because he has class. Bisping doesn’t fall into that category.

I thought I saw Vince McMahon in the stands, hmm… that would explain a few things. How anyone could give that fight to Bisping after getting thrown around and beat down is beyond me. It’s really a knock to the UFC. Dana White, I gurantee, is sweating bullets right now.
I just watched and Im gonna pass along my opinion Round 1: Matt Hamill won 10/9 NO DOUBT Round 2 : Bisping won 10/9 why because all Hamill did was take him down and bury his head in M.Bs chest and Bisping landed far more shots Round 3 : Bisping 10/9 why 1. He blocked M.Hs takedown attempts and landed loads of shots and defended very well, just because a guy doesnt take a guy down and pound the s*it out of him doesnt mean he isnt winning the fight. 29/28 FOR THE WINNER MICHAEL BISPING!
I watched the UFC75 fight, as I have done with all the UFC fights since UFC49, it isn’t a USA vs UK thing or any countrry against any other country…, it should be two well trained MMA fighters one on one fighting for the win. SADLY…, Hamill didn’t receive the one on one odds because the two of the three judges were against also.
Hamill won round one hands down. Hamill won round two. Hamill may have won round three, but even if he lost round three he still won two of three and thus should have recieved the win!!!!!!!!
Before “Pie Face” makes any more Uninformed comments maybe…, just maybe He or She should watch the fight and then it will be very clear who won the fight…, HAMILL HANDS DOWN!

Hamill won hands down, but if you realy watched the fight and still think Bisping beat Hamill…, well you have a right to your own oppinion, but I would suggest reading the rules for the UFC point system.

I went to the site you recommended and the conclution is the same there as it is here…, Hamill WON but was riped off by two of the judges.
I recorded the fight and I looked over it again…, Control and ring dom. go to Hamill. He also compleatly dom. Bisping round one for a 10/8 two point lead to start the fight. Won round two. Held his own tound three. Even if he lost round three it would still should be 29/27 for Hamill

I said round ONE (1) Hamill dominate Bisping and that I saw it as a 10/8 round. Won round two 10/9, and held his own in round three.
Even IF…, IF…, Hamill lost round three he still should have won on points.
Control of the Octagon earns points! Running backward away from the aggressor dosen’t earn points. Hamill was the aggreeeor for the entire fight. He held the center of the ring for at least 90% of the fight.
Controling a fighter on the ground earn points. You can call it “lay and pray” or enything you want but it earns points. Or at least real judges score it that way.

Punches count for points aswell and Bisping landed loads in late round 2 and round 3.

Hey redone Most spectators believe that Hamill did more than enough to earn the decision. However, two of the three judges didn’t see it that way. In fact, FightNetwork.com tracked down one of the judges, Cecil Peoples, for comment on his decision.
Here’s a snip from Peoples:
“I gave Bisping the second round, first because Hamill was beginning to run out of gas after the first round. Bisping fought like he wanted that fight. He came back aggressive [from the first round]. Hamill did take him down, but he did nothing with the takedown. Overall, Bisping was more aggressive. Hamill just held him down. Bisping’s punching was more effective.”

I think Bisping will read all the shit about him and take the fight for sure,. And as far as Hamill, he’ll take the fight for sure. I cant wait till this mess is over and bisping is fighting 185 where he will do much better.

As far as the Judges…, I don’t care why they GAVE the win to Bisping…, the fact is, in my mind, they GAVE the win to him; you can think whatever you want but I’ll foever more say the two judges GAVE the fight to Bisping.
They made a good fight and they will do it again. If I was Hamill I would not LET Bisping up after the takedown. I would mall Bisping on the ground the R.C. way. If Hamill does that he will not give the Judges any room to steal the win from him.

i train in MMA, and i want to be a professional MMA fighter and have a contract with a league by the age 24. needless to say i probably know more about fighting than anyone who is on here, and there may be exceptions. But lets face facts, Hamill had ring control the whole fight, he pushed the pace the whole time, he landed more shots and more important shots, and he had allot more takedowns. hamill won the first two rounds and arguably the third. so fuck bisping, that shit talking bitch.
I train mma and have done with vitor,ross pointon and many other mma fighters but do you see ME mouthing off about knowing more mma than the next guy. BOTTOM LINE everybody is saying Hamill won, I cant tell you how many times ive heard that today, but boo hoo the rematch is upon us. i’ve seen it, i actually posted the fight as my myspace video. what really bothered me the most abbout the whole thing was how bisping shit talked hamill after wards. if you do win a fight, and it was so close you thought you might lose, then why would you shit talk like you whipped his ass. its just shameful.
I am done with UFC, I will never watch another UFC fight.

Hamill was so ripped off. The UFC should investigate the judges. If they just let this sit, they should be compared to some of boxing’s worst. I am sure they will do something.
Micheal Bisping recently sat down with Kevin Iole of YAHOO! Sports to look back on his behavior after winning one of the most controversial decisions in UFC history. He also sheds new insight into why he acted the way he did during the news conference. Here are some of the highlights of that conversation.
Bisping On Whether He Won The Fight Or Not:
“Even a very good friend of mine, that night, he came up to me and said, ‘You know mate, to be honest, I think you lost that fight,’ ” Bisping said. “Of course I care what people think, especially because I’m not that kind of a guy,” Bisping said. “If you read the Internet message boards after that fight, I think I was more hated than Saddam Hussein. “If I had a time machine, I’d go back in time and handle myself a lot differently than I did. Of course I felt I won the fight, but I had no business reacting to the journalists the way I did.”
Bisping’s Dire Situation Right Before The News Conference:
What many did not know however, was that Bisping was dealing with a dire situation minutes before his furious, emotion-laced reaction to journalists inquiring about the judges decision.
Jan Bisping, Micheal’s father, placed a desperate call to Micheal for help. It seems Jan was being harassed by angry fans outside the London’s O2 Arena. Micheal was quickly whisked away with security on the back of a moped in search of his father. Unfortunately Micheal had no luck finding him before having to head back reluctantly to the UFC’s mandatory news conference. Friends assured him that they’d find his father.
“No excuses,” Bisping said, “but look at what happened before I walked into that room from my perspective. My adrenaline was still moving fairly well from the fight. I’m hot and sweaty and concerned about my father. And all of a sudden I’m getting negative comments. “I handled myself badly – I’m the first to admit that – but everything combined at that point and I just kind of had an eruption.” Bisping On His Fight With Rashad Evans:
“I’ve got a lot of incentive in this fight. I want to change people’s minds, not only about how I acted, but about how I fought. If people didn’t like what they saw the last time, I ask them to give me one more chance. I promise they’re going to get what they want to see.”
Bisping was not the same before that fight, I know none of you will care but I gotta feel bad for the guy!
