Whatever the answer is, Ken Shamrock has been around forever and been in the UFC since it started. He took an incredible beatdown twice in 2006 and twice in 2005. In 2006, Tito Ortiz TKO’d his ass and in 2005 he got TKO’d in PRIDE by Kazushi Sakuraba and by Sir Rich Franklin in the UFC.
Well, according to NBCsports, Kenny wants to get beaten up some more… Rumors are flying around that he will fight in UFC75 against Michael Bisping, this again is to be confirmed but he perhaps might be a good match up as cannon fodder for Bisping to pummel into the mat. Does he really need to fight? Or does he need the money? The guy’s already a hall-of-famer, what reason could he possibly have to want to keep fighting?

It is time to retire for good I think!! There is not to many people like Randy Couture! Ken was amazing back in the day but he just can’t keep up with these younger, faster, and stronger guys! Plus Bisping is one hell of a fighter!!!!!! He was my favorite on the show!

Kens reflex reaction time is super slow caused by aging. I see him getting tk the *#$ out.. His best move would be the ankle lock.. if hes able to get it in the 1st 30 seconds of the fight and actually lock the ankle he can win.. but thats not going to happen. Bisping tko stoppage 1st round..
Shamrock nearly took ortizs head off with a torn acl, then tito waited til shamrock was 43 cause he knew ken would have owned him in 2003 at least he had the balls to fight tito three times. WHERE WOULD UFC BE WITHOUT KEN SHAMROCK GIVE HIM SOME RESPECT HE COULD TAKE BISPING.
Shamrock is old school UFC from when fighters weren’t as well versed in all fighting disciplines. He’ll get completely frustrated by Bisping’s take down defence and pounded by his stand up. The popularity of the UFC owes alot to characters like Ken Shamrock but it’s no longer entertaining to see a GREAT like him get embarassed in the octogon just for the money…Grow old gracefully (unless your Randy Couture!)

Ken Shamrock was winning in the fight against Tito in the stand up game, its on the ground where Tito beat the shit out of him. Age caught up with him and theres nothing he is going to be able to do from the ground. Bisping is the biggest overrated joke ever seen. All he has fought were bums. He should’ve lost his last fight and he lost against Hamill. Those were the worst judges ever. If you guys could honestly say that Bisping won then you must be mentally challenged or have some disorder. He sucks and time will prove it. As for the Ken Shamrock fight, Ken would beat his ass(he wouldn’t be able to knock him out)into a descision where he would probally lose because of the horrible judges. Shamrock would def. own Bisping in the fight.
I needed a good laugh after that Bisping vs. Hamill fight. I agree that Ken Shamrock could beat Bisping fairly readily. You know, age and treachery against youth and exuberance.
