Has anyone seen the fight back in 2006 when Anderson Silva was kicking the hell out Yushin Okami’s legs and Okami was trying to take Silva down? Those inside legs kick must have hurt.
Eventually Okami got Silva down and mounted him and got some good shots in from above. Okami has great ground and pound. Silva strikes back with a heel to the face and the referee disqualifies Silva and awards the win to Okami.
This Saturday at UFC72 Yushin Okami will be taking on Rich Franklin and the winner of that fight must surely be due a shot at the Middleweight title. Anderson Silva is the holder of that and the winner of the Franklin/Okami fight will surely have their sights set on the Middleweight belt.
