Does anyone remember the guy that Matt Hughes had a hard time finishing at UFC36 in 2002?
That guy was Hayato Sakurai and it appears that Diego Sanchez will be fighting him at UFC74. Wow, this guy has 30 wins under his belt and 7 losses. 7 losses is nothing when you look at the number of the opponents this guy has beaten. Saying that, these guys were not the type that stuck around to fight. Some only had a handful of fights. Regardless, Sakurai has WAY more experience that Sanchez.
This is going to be a great fight but I think it’s a little bit more that what Sanchez can chew…

This ufc 74 card is looking like one of the best yet,seems like a lot of big fights on one card ,couture-silva,gsp-kos,and now sanchez..

any ideas out there on how jos made sanchez look so bad!seems like he could’nt handle that hard jab in his face whenever he moved in,he’s gotta figure out a way around that to move on.
it was surprising sanchez looked so bad.he was doing a lot of stand up training prior to the fight.yet still he was dominated.maybe he needs 2 lay off the weed 4 a while.
diego sanchez is a punk. he’s a mediocre fighter that got lucky and got put on that show and got to train with some of the great fighters like liddel

Yup thats right, he hasnt improved much and has trained with Oscar De La Hoya and others. Koscheck embarrased him and he will HAVE to make a HUGE statement against Jon Fitch if he wants a title shot any time soon. And I dont see that happening!
