A long time back we reported on the UFC72 fight card for next week. We reported the following fights were on but a lot have been moved to UFC73:
- Anderson Silva vs Nathan Marqhardt - moved to UFC73
- Sean Sherk vs. Hermes Franca - moved to UFC73
- Tito Ortiz vs Rashad Evans - moved to UFC73
OK, now that these fights are NOT on the UFC72 fight card we can get on with business! Here’s the FINAL card:
- Rich Franklin Vs. Yushin Okami
- Hector Ramirez Vs. Forrest Griffin
- Rory Singer Vs. Jason MacDonald
- Clay Guida Vs. Tyson Griffin
- Jason Tan Vs. Marcus Davis
- Eddie Sanchez Vs. Colin Robinson
- Scott Smith Vs. Ed Herman
- Dustin Hazelett Vs. Stevie Lynch
Rich Franklin (23-2-0) VS. Yushin Okami (21-3-0 is going to be a great fight. Ace has to beat this guy and their records are so similar and Okami is such a great fighter. I don’t know what’s going to happen in this fight but it’s going to be DYNAMITE.

I think this fight card will be pretty good. I think that Rich, Forrest, and Jason MacDonald will win their bouts. I also can’t wait for UFC 73. I always get the pay per view cards. I really enjoy them. I just wish we could see all the fights and or at least the post fight comments.
Rory Singer’s a pretty good fighter if you saw him in TUF but Jason MacDonald is a great fighter. I have no idea what went wrong for him against Rich Franklin.
This is going to be a great card! I hear what you’re saying about seeing all the fights and usually they do show them all but just after the main fights.
I know! When MacDonald fought Rich he didn’t even look like the same fighter. I don’t know if it was because he was fighting Rich and maybe it was nerves or what. Hopefully he’ll fight the way we know he can fight this time. Yes Rory is a good fighter. I saw him on TUF! And the reason he lost his fight to Ed Herman I think was because he let all that crap that was going on in the house get to him!! What do you think?
MacDonald can be that type of fighter that comes back and wins a few more fights and next thing you know he could have a title shot. The Franklin/Okami fight is where I am focusing on… Not long now!
Yo DANA i love the UFC and appreciate everything that zuffa has done to globalize the UFC. I get every Pay per view in my home, and watch all of your shows on SPIKE. But I’ve gotta come clean with this, I’m gonna go ahead and skip this one!!! Your offering a questionable MAIN EVENT. This fight should at best be a set up fight. Is the UFC so thin an fighters that an over rated Forrest Griffin on a losing streak, is setting up for “ACE”. HELLO Kieth Jardine lost and looked bad doing it last month. Christian, that’s a point with some value. I do think it’s a good card and if you’re only paying $10 well I think that’s lucky. Some guys in Canada are paying $40 for it.
