Dana White recently rated Chuck Liddell, Georges St. Pierre and Matt Hughes as three of the best MMA fighters in the world, with Chuck as his choice of Top Dog. Since then they’ve all lost. Liddell beaten by Jackson, Hughes by Georges St. Pierre and Georges St. Pierre by Serra. Cheers for the kiss of death Dana, Ha Ha.
That’s just Dana’s list. Clued up as he is, he has his own agenda (Chuck Liddell’s one of his best pals etc…) Fedor, Henderson, Nogueira, Cro Cop, Shogun, Anderson Silva, Gomi & Bob Sapp. Ha Ha, OK, not Big Bob. These are but a few of the top boys. Yeah, they got a few losses between them.
Sun Tzu said “To fully appreciate victory you must first experience defeat”. Losing make you a better fighter and there are many reasons for them. Bad days etc…

How do you pick the best ufc fighter in the world? Surely this is like any other sport with people having their own personal favourite. What makes someone ‘The best Fighter in the world’?
Maybe Dana should stick to what he does best instead of jinxin some of ufc’s favourite, most admired ‘BEST’ fighters with his own personal point of veiw.
He’s has the kiss of death man, I’m telling you, if I ever got into the UFC I’d make it a part of the contract that Dana has to keep quiet about me and not even allowed to mention my name.

There are way too many talented fighters, way too many. There’s always going to be a new up and comer. Houston Alexander? Nah… But he kick Jardines ass.
thats what makes this sport so addictive,all the big fights are pick em’s,a year ago i swore franklin was unbeatable,we all saw that ass kickin he took from silva,then silva almost gets submitted by a overweight nobody.god i love the ufc!!!!!!!!!,lol
maybe it comes down 2 who is the most consistant fighter.they all take losses.set backs aside,some fighters have had some very impresive winning streaks.some fighters have consistantly beaten highley rated opponents.fedor,hughes and liddell stand up 2 the test well.

I think Couture’s great. I totally agree, but I have no idea who the best fighter out there is… Hrmmm.. I gotta recognise some good up and comers, Michael Bisping for example, who else, hrmmm… There are a lot of fighters who show promise, but yo just don’t know where that’s going to go…
