UFC71 Main Event - Liddell Vs. Jackson

Here it comes. This is what we’ve been waiting for. Last month we were spoiled by the UFC with a PPV and a freebie, that was an awesome month, it made us miss the fighting, let’s face it, the TUF series isn’t exactly thrilling viewing.

Jackson Vs Liddell 2

Here we go, Chuck Liddell left PRIDE after Quinton Jackson beat him from the mount and Liddell’s corner throws in the towel. That was then, Liddell rejoined the UFC and has avenged ALL his losses except for one and tonight he gets that chance. Did I also mention that he is unbeaten since rejoining the UFC?

Jackson’s no chump but it is his second UFC fight so he is not as experienced in this arena as Chuck. And that counts. he won his debut fight against Marvin Eastman later in the second round with a knock out, he has knockout power. HE also went the distance to Matt Lindland so he can cope with wrestlers and Chuck uses wrestling well to position his opponent for a beatdown. I can’t wait for this fight.

Meanwhile it’s the Din Thomas fight, he got the armbar on the young kid. I think the fight was stopped prematurely but as I was explaining to my girlfriend and Joe Rogan called it that we don’t want another Mir/Sylvia thing again…

I want Chuck Liddell Vs. Quinton Jackson already! The fight play by play will be here so you know you gotta click to check it… The atmosphere is ELECTRIC! Remember, I gotta go with Liddell on this one no matter what, Chuck looks cool coming in to the ring he acknowledges the crowd, they love him. Continue reading ‘UFC71 Main Event - Liddell Vs. UFC71 - Din Thomas calls out all boxers

Din Thomas specifically named Floyd Mayweather in the call out and said that he’s “the motherfucker to come see”. That was awesome! Well done Din but you know that pretty boy Floyd already held his hands up and apologizes, right? UFC71 is awesome, the main fight is coming up as soon as this crappy trailer for Hostel II is over, Bijou Phillips is a squeakity ass lil runt of a woman. Hostel was wack, but Thomas’ call out to the boxers who talk smalk, shit and bullshit is on. Sherk’s got his back too, I wouldn’t screw around with that shit!

Karo Parisyan Vs. Josh Burkman

First, I can’t believe Joe Rogan just referred to Karo Parisyan as the “Top Judoist in the country”. I guess Judoka is right, but anyway, he could have said Judo practitioner or something. Parisyan came in listening to that dude from Stinkin’ Park, man, just the fact that he thinks that’s a cool song means he deserves to lose.

Burkman is dope, I drop him a message nad he hits me right back within a day. The guy’s been training hard. I can;t wait for this fight. I feel guilty for eating Domino’s when I know all these guys have been doing is watching their diet and training like monsters.

Herb Dean better NOT stop this fight! Here it comes, don’t read if you don’t wanna know what’s up. Continue reading ‘Karo Parisyan Vs. Josh Burkman’

Martin Vs. Salaverry

Terry Martin got that big flying knee from James Irvin at UFC54 which KO’d him. Then he lost to a TKO strikes to Jason Lambert at UFC59. Prior to this fight he is 15-2-0 which is impressive.

Ivan Salaverry lost last to Nate Marquardt and before that he beat Joe Riggs. He’s a very strategic fighter, the whole Billie Jean bullshit played up by Martin might really make him wanna hurt Terry Martin. The fight is coming up, close your eyes if you don’t want to know what happens, or just don’t click this link!

Keith Jardine Vs. Houston Alexander

Here comes the fight… I don’t think I’ll be punching too much into this article. Jardine’s gonna kick Alexander’s head off, I am sure. They need to turn those frikkin bagpipes down, I hate that crap.

Rogan’s suggesting that Jardine shouldn’t take Alexander lightly, I think he should and even more, I think he should go in there and kick his head off like in a Mortal Kombat “FINISH HIM” death move. The fight talk is here with the results. Continue reading ‘Keith Jardine Vs. Houston Alexander’
