Chucks long looping punches r taylor made against wrestlers exemplified by the ortiz and couture fights. In my opinion Liddell’s long looping punches will leave him wide open for a good old knee to the face muay thai style. Yes I am a Wandi fan but I also love Chuck. He was great for the UFC. However his time is nearing to the end IMO. I have followed the UFC and Pride for years, bias or not Chuck will lose this fight.

Zach, man, you got it kind of twizted, if my range is 3′-4′ how are you supposed to muay thai knee me without a clinch, we will see because the fight is in negotiations, but if you want to see what happens when you put Chuck in the clinch, watch UFC57 when Randy gets clobbered with an overhand and then an upercut just for trying to reach for it, i know Wandi is a better clinch-fighter than Randy but Chuck is too fast, Wandi’s only real hope is a clean punch (if he gets close enough to hit Chuck with Wandi’s crazy inaccurate striking) or what I think should be his bread-n-butter in this one: kicks, leg kicks and high kicks, thats the one area he can really best Chuck.
I dont think iceman is quicker than wandy, I think this fight could go either way, silva has a chin of steel and chuck can take a shot aswell but wandy is definetly stronger and could give chuck some problems in the clinch, and BTW chcuks performence in this fight will answer all the questions that have been asked since he dropped the LHW belt to QRJ, Dana NEEDS to make this fight happen, silva wanted it in november and so does chuck so MAKE IT HAPPEN.
