First, I can’t believe Joe Rogan just referred to Karo Parisyan as the “Top Judoist in the country”. I guess Judoka is right, but anyway, he could have said Judo practitioner or something. Parisyan came in listening to that dude from Stinkin’ Park, man, just the fact that he thinks that’s a cool song means he deserves to lose.
Burkman is dope, I drop him a message nad he hits me right back within a day. The guy’s been training hard. I can;t wait for this fight. I feel guilty for eating Domino’s when I know all these guys have been doing is watching their diet and training like monsters.
Herb Dean better NOT stop this fight! Here it comes, don’t read if you don’t wanna know what’s up.
Round one. Burkman comes out swinging and his guards close. Karo almost gets Burkman down and Burkman’s trying to take Parisyan down but escapes. Burkman with a big kick that just misses. He’s wanting to knock this Linkin Park listener right out.
Big upper cuts from Karo, it almost left him open. Parisyan’s been doing a little non Judo training… Burkman’s taking a few shots.
Parisyan’s finding decent kicks to the legs but now Burkman has Parisyan on his back. Burkman gets some shot in but nothing matters. Pariyan works his Judo and takes burkman down and it looks impressive but Burkman’s strong as an Ox. Parisyan tries to choke and it gets stood up.
Pariyan’s getting the round so far. Kimura is on Burkman, Karo can do this, I am worried but Burkman escapes. Wow, that was a GREAT round one, this is why I get so hyped on the UFC!
Round two. Cautious round two start and they probably know round one cost a lot of energy. Burkman’s stopping Karo from bringing Judo into this fight. Good kick from Burks and he just misses with a knee to the face. He’s looking for the KO.
Burkman clips Karo and Karo wants more, he invites it… Burkman’s slowing down and it looks like PArisyan’s wearing him down, Burkman’s feet are flat on the mat. Karo is waiting for the opportunity, Burkman’s tired…
Always on the backfoot, Burman’s not looking good here, Parisyan’s tracking after him and measuring him up for a big hit. Just over a minute to go. Burkman’s SO DAMNED TIRED. Man this is over, Burkman looks tired, no, exhausted and can’t do much her. Parisyan’s picking on Burkman and scoring every time. Burkman throws a half assed spinning backfist. The replay shows many shots from Parisyan, I hope Burkman can get some energy coming into the third or this is going to be over quickly.
Round three. They’re standing up and Burkman looks like he needs some sleep but he’s going for Karo, he’s trying he knows he has to. Big miss by Burkman and Parisyan clips him with strong jabs. Burkman after a good left gets Parisyan in the clinch but who wants to be in a clinch with Karo Parisyan. Burkman’s got Parisyan on his back and he’s trying to get through the guard but now Parisyan is setting up for an arm bar. The fight is back up and now Burkman’s in a Kimura but he’s holding on. We’re stood up. This is a great fight, Burkman is defying odds by staying in the third round after looking so tired.
It’s hard to write and watch, this is too exciting. Parisyan’s looking a little tired too but he’s got more left in the can than Burkman and can still hit with those straight left shots. Burkman needs to knock Parisyan out but he’s all over the place. Last 10 seconds. Decision and I am sure this is going Parisyan’s way. That was close but I am so sure i’s going to Karo Parisyan.
Bruce Buffer reads it out and it’s a unanimous win for Karo Parisyan. No surprise there, unlucky Burks.
