I live in Hollywood California and do not have cable, so I went to a local hooters restaurant to catch the fight for free! So, my friend is all we gotta go super early, and I am like nah dude, this is hollywood, MMA hasn't caught on yet. To my freakin surprise we had to fight to catch a seat and we where an hour early at a huge hooters. So, without question MMA is catching on like fireworks. With Oscar almost done, Tyson a joke and old it's not even a question anymore. No one can name any of there current stars or title holders UFC is way past boxing now, the only question is how long will be it trendy and how much more popular will it get? Mayweather vs. Sherk is a damn joke! Sherk would shut that kid down in a matter of seconds. I watched the De La Hoya vs. Mayweather fight, and honestly I wasn't impressed! Both fighters looked like they came out of a health spa instead of a fight. People watch the UFC because its entertaining,fast paced and unpredictable. Boxing is more like 12 rd decisions these days with both fighters doing minimal damage. Mike Tyson was the most exciting fighter in the 80's and early 90's. Most people cant even name the current wbc,wbo,or ibf heavyweight champ now in boxing(that right there should tell us were boxings headed) MMA is the most exciting combative sport in the world now!
