Tim Sylvia, Georges St. Pierre and Mirko Cro Cop all have one thing in common right now, they have all been beaten decisively by what the majority of the fight community once considered as underdogs.
While Randy Couture not exactly flying under the radar his victory was considered a milestone in an already successful career. Then there was Matt Serra who dominated St. Pierre and most recently Gabriel Gonzaga who knocked out Mirko Cro Cop via a head kick. No one including myself saw neither one of those coming!
These fights are the trademark of a growing sport in which at any moment an individual can find themselves asking “what happened?”. Will this trend continue and what should the next couple of cards bring the fans. Who is next?
I predict that Rampage will knock out Chuck Liddell with an overhand right and Gabriel Gonzaga will shock the world and take the belt from Couture! The beauty is no-one knows, not even Dana White himself.

obviously you dont know what your talking about, chuck lost four years ago, beaten evryone hes lost to m has improved greatly, jackson still same old fighter, who kept getting beat up, by shogun, and silva, if chuck ill admitt you know your mma, but if rampage loses, we will know your just making predictions without a clue.

Anyway, I think Liddell will SMOKE Jackson - TKO Stoppage, a reversal of what happened in PRIDE in 2003. Then again, who the hell knows what will happen, Chuck’s had 7 convincing wins against QUALITY opponents…
Since Jackson beat Liddell in 2003 he’s lost three times. Wanderlei twice and Shogun once with a TKO and two KO’s!

Not for a long time….if by some minute chance Liddell fights Silva and beats him….then maybe…..but I woudn’t bet on it. Anyone who knows MMA knew that Chuck wasn’t going to win that fight. I’d be at the bar and people were screaming “GO Chuck Go Chuck”….I’d be talking to the dude next to me and he would be talking about how Chuck is the best…I mentioned Wanderlei Silva and he had a dumb look on his face and said.. “You mean Tim Sylvia??” I felt like saying no you dumb ass Wanderlei…but thats just one little example of how those kinds of things get irritating when this stuff starts to go mainstream…people jumnp on the bandwagon and feel that whoever is the more popular will win. In this case Liddell was definitely the more popular and well he lost.
Yeah, I gotta admit - I want Liddell to win because I like him a lot.

I always want Liddell to lose. I don’t like him as a fighter, and I was very happy when he god killed with ease by Rampage. I think it will go out with a rear naked choke.
